JAL Rolls Out Winter 2024 Schedule with Enhanced Flight Frequencies and New Airbus A350-1000 Routes

The JAL Group has unveiled its Winter schedule for both international and domestic routes, including updates to the domestic flight frequency plan.

International Flights

• Select routes will see an increase in flights compared to the FY2024 summer schedule.
• The Airbus A350-1000 will debut on the Haneda-London route (JL43/44) in the fall of 2024, with the exact start date to be announced. Additionally, the Haneda-New York route will operate two daily flights using the A350-1000 starting August 14, and the Haneda-Dallas Fort Worth route will run daily from August 23.

Domestic Flights

• Beginning January 7, the Osaka (Itami)-Miyazaki route will expand from 5 to 6 daily round trips for a limited time.
• During high-demand periods, flights on Kagoshima-remote island routes will be increased as in previous years.
• From December 1 to February 28, flights on the Sapporo (Okadama)-Kushiro, Hakodate, and Akita routes will be reduced to better manage irregularities, including bad weather.
